It seems that the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t as crazy about signing free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha as most people have been thinking. There is no doubt that he will be the hottest free agent once the lockout ends and free agency finally opens up.
The Eagles have many reasons why they are currently lukewarm when it comes to having the desire to sign Asomugha. The Eagles are concerned about how much money they will have to invest in order to sign Asomugha. Also they aren’t to crazy about him primaarly being a press corner that only plays on the right side of the field. And lastly, Asomugha will be 30 years old when the season starts and the Eagles rarely keep players past the age of 32. And there is no way he will only sign a 1-3 years conrtact. He’s looking for a for a 5-6 year contract.
