According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, veteran quarterback Donovan McNabb could be a viable option as the Tennessee Titans starting quarterback for this coming season if rookie Jake Locker isn’t ready to start right away.
If the Titans decide to not re-sign veteran Kerry Collins, it would leave the door open for McNabb to end up in Tennesssee.
It’s become clear in Washington that the Redskins don’t like McNabb as their starting quarterback and don’t plan on starting him in 2011. If the Redskins aren’t able to get what they would like in return for McNabb through a trade, they might have to end up releasing him so they won’t have to pay his salary for 2011.
